What an afternoon

Wow were we ever busy after school today. Made a quick dash home right after getting kids so they could brush their teeth. Then off to the dentist for their cleanings. Steph has a cavitiy that needs filled. Then we stopped by Hobby Lobby to get my mom some things on sale she requested. Dropped books off to the library before the predicted snow storm, Eureka pizza for dinner. Walgreens to pick up a prescription. Where I remembered to take a photo for today. I guess everyone was trying to get last minute refills we had a wait. About 6:30 or so we finally got home for the night.

Yummy Dinner

I directed Steph tonight & she made our dinner. Taco Soup in the crockpot. I got this recipe from an ex boss & we love it. Ground Beef (I brown mine ahead of time & place in freezer....makes prep time quicker). Taco Seasoning, canned beans (pinto & kidney don't drain), salsa (we blend ours w/ tomatoes). Can of diced tomatoes. You can add corn or anything else you'd like. Just toss everything in crockpot till warm & top w/ shredded cheese & enjoy with tortilla chips.

Beautiful Day

The 70 degree day today was wonderful. Also was wonderful seeing my cousin, Mandi, her boys, & my aunt, Brenda, that I don't see nearly as often as I'd like. Mandi is hidden in back (putting the baby in his carseat).

Interstate Driving

We had a busy day after school on Friday. After picking up both kiddos we picked up a card for Steph's prescription from the dermatologist. Across the street to the Toyota dealership for the courtesy car washes they offer on Friday & Saturdays. Then we headed just down the road to Krispy Kreme for a couple free donuts the kids had coupons for. Steph drove us home. I gave her the option of 71B or the interstate & she choose the interstate. She has driven on the interstate a couple times before so this wasn't the first time.

Nothing today....(updated)

Okay I forgot about Logan's doctor appt today. She said it looks like it might be infected a little bit or could be impetigo because of the injury to the skin. For a precaution she put him on antibotics & an impetigo cream. He wasn't to keen on swallowing a pill so that's why there is 3 bottles of liquid. I'm glad he likes the taste because it smells gross to me.

I guess nothing major happened today or I forgot to get a photo. So I'll borrow one of Steph's for today :) Thanks Steph for "building" a great snowman during the last snow. I tell ya, she's a great artist. She will draw with anything. Paper/pencil, sand/shovel handle, or even snow/stick.

Really Red

So here it is 21 days after Logan fell. You can see how red it still is. He is getting little pimples that are coming up that won't go away in those spots too. I think I probably need to make a doctor appt to make sure all is healing okay.

Car Rider Lines

Since I posted a photo of Logan being picked up the other day I figured it'd only be fair to show what happens right after he gets picked up. Notice Steph walking on the right? The traffic at the High School is insane, but it seems to clear out quick.
